Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state policies and legislation using quantitative/qualitative research methods
- Prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for senior leadershipCoordinate interdepartmental projects and stakeholder communications
- Monitor federal regulatory changes affecting state operations
- Develop data-driven solutions for public administration challenges
- Present findings to legislative committees and public forums
- Maintain compliance with Washington State Administrative Code requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of policy analysis or government experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of Washington State legislative processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with public speaking experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
- Master's degree preferred for senior-level assignments
