Responsibilities
- Oversee municipal program implementation and compliance with federal/state regulations
- Develop and manage departmental budgets exceeding $1M annually
- Analyze community data to inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate inter-agency collaborations for regional initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council and public hearings
- Lead cross-functional teams of 5+ professionals
- Ensure equitable service delivery across Fresno's diverse neighborhoods
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years government/nonprofit program management experience
- Proficiency in grant writing and compliance reporting
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation experience
- Valid California driver's license
- Experience with municipal budgeting systems (e.g., Oracle)
- Certified Public Manager (CPM) designation a plus
- Spanish fluency highly desirable
