Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate state-funded programs aligned with Illinois' strategic goals
- Manage budgets exceeding $1M and ensure fiscal compliance with state regulations
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to optimize public service delivery
- Prepare detailed reports for legislative committees and executive leadership
- Oversee contract administration with vendors and nonprofit partners
- Lead stakeholder engagement initiatives across government and community sectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of program management experience in government or public sector
- Illinois residency required (or willingness to relocate within 90 days)
- Proficiency in grant writing and federal/state compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with experience in policy impact assessment
- Valid Illinois driver's license for statewide travel
