Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic government programs aligned with Virginia's policy objectives
- Analyze legislative changes and ensure regulatory compliance across initiatives
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local government agencies to optimize resource allocation
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership and public stakeholders
- Manage program budgets exceeding $1M with rigorous fiscal oversight
- Lead community engagement initiatives to ensure public participation in policy decisions
- Monitor program performance metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in government operations or public sector management
- Expert knowledge of Virginia state government procedures and regulatory frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Tableau, Excel) and policy research
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification or equivalent
- Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven track record of successfully implementing large-scale government programs
