Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor municipal programs aligned with city strategic goals
- Analyze community needs data to optimize service delivery and resource allocation
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on grant applications and compliance reporting
- Conduct stakeholder outreach and facilitate public engagement initiatives
- Prepare detailed program impact reports for executive leadership review
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and municipal regulatory frameworks
- Mentor junior staff and coordinate interagency partnerships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, or related field
- 3+ years experience in government program management or public sector
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, or similar)
- Strong grant writing and compliance documentation skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation abilities
- Knowledge of Michigan municipal regulations and procurement processes
- Remote work experience with demonstrated self-management capabilities
- Valid Michigan driver's license (as needed for occasional site visits)
