Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate, up-to-date digital and physical records for city departments.
- Process incoming correspondence, mail, and inter-departmental requests with efficiency and confidentiality.
- Assist constituents and city employees with inquiries regarding permits, licenses, and public records.
- Perform data entry and database management to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Organize files and archives to ensure easy retrieval and disaster recovery readiness.
- Collaborate with team leads to improve workflow processes and administrative efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in an administrative or records management role is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government database software.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain data accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with the public.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen as required for government employment.
