Responsibilities
- Manage, organize, and maintain accurate public records and filing systems in compliance with state regulations.
- Retrieve and provide information to the public, government agencies, and internal departments in a professional manner.
- Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy, ensuring all digital and physical records are up to date.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and correspondence related to record management.
- Operate office equipment, including scanners, copiers, and computer systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety standards.
- Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a government office, records management, or administrative support role is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
