Responsibilities
- Patrol & Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of assigned government buildings, parks, and perimeters to deter criminal activity and ensure site security.
- Access Control: Monitor and control access points, verifying credentials of visitors and employees to maintain strict security protocols.
- Incident Reporting: Document all irregularities, suspicious activities, and incidents accurately using digital reporting tools.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and distress calls, initiating appropriate safety measures.
- Customer Service: Assist visitors and employees with directions and inquiries, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and federal government regulations and company security policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Age & Citizenship: Must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- License: Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required; prior military or law enforcement experience is a plus.
