Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from federal, state, private, and corporate sources
- Develop compelling grant proposals and applications aligned with funder priorities
- Craft persuasive narratives demonstrating program impact and community need
- Collaborate with program teams to gather data and prepare supporting documentation
- Manage grant reporting requirements and maintain accurate funding records
- Build relationships with program officers and represent the organization at funder meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven funding success
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives
- Proficiency with grant management software (e.g., GrantStation, Salesforce NPSP)
- Strong research and analytical skills for identifying funding opportunities
- Experience managing federal, state, and private foundation grant cycles
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments under tight deadlines
