Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with organizational priorities
- Develop compelling grant proposals and applications exceeding $500K annually
- Cultivate relationships with foundations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors
- Manage grant reporting and compliance requirements for existing funders
- Analyze funding trends and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
- Collaborate with program teams to develop impactful project narratives
- Maintain accurate grant tracking database and reporting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years professional grant writing experience
- Proven track record securing $1M+ in annual grant funding
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with attention to detail
- Deep knowledge of federal/state grant regulations and compliance
- Experience with nonprofit fundraising and budget development
- Proficiency in grant management software (e.g., Salesforce, GrantStation)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
