Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with organizational mission
- Develop compelling grant proposals and reports exceeding $1M annually
- Cultivate relationships with foundations, government agencies, and corporate partners
- Manage grant application deadlines and compliance requirements
- Analyze funding trends and prepare strategic funding plans
- Collaborate with program staff to gather impact data and narratives
- Maintain accurate grant databases and reporting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years grant writing experience with proven funding success
- Portfolio of funded grant applications ($500K+ secured)
- Expertise in federal, state, and private foundation grants
- Exceptional writing and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency with grant management software (e.g., GrantStation)
- Knowledge of nonprofit accounting and compliance standards
- Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration
