Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on public and private grant opportunities that align with the organization's mission and goals.
- Develop and write high-quality, persuasive grant proposals and narratives, including budgets and timeline milestones.
- Manage the entire grant lifecycle, from identifying funding sources to submitting applications and post-award reporting.
- Collaborate with program staff and leadership to gather necessary data and ensure grant deliverables meet funder requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of grant activities, deadlines, and funding history using CRM tools.
- Monitor trends in the nonprofit sector and adapt fundraising strategies to maximize success rates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Public Administration, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of successful experience in grant writing, fundraising, or nonprofit administration.
- Proven track record of securing funding from government agencies, private foundations, and corporations.
- Strong research skills with the ability to analyze funding guidelines and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
