Responsibilities
- Research and identify federal, state, and private funding opportunities aligned with organizational mission
- Develop compelling grant proposals, budgets, and supporting documentation
- Cultivate relationships with program officers and funding partners
- Manage grant reporting and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with program directors to identify funding needs
- Maintain accurate grant application tracking systems
- Analyze funding trends and adapt strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional grant writing experience with 80%+ success rate
- Proven track record securing $500k+ in annual funding
- Expertise in federal/state grant applications (SAM.gov experience required)
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with attention to detail
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- Experience with non-profit fundraising strategies
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- Ability to start within 48 hours of offer
