Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies
- Develop persuasive grant proposals, budgets, and reports tailored to funder requirements
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective funders
- Collaborate with program staff to gather compelling project narratives and data
- Manage grant application timelines and ensure compliance with funder guidelines
- Analyze funding trends and recommend strategic adjustments to grant strategy
- Maintain accurate grant databases and reporting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 5+ years of professional grant writing experience with demonstrated success
- Proven track record securing $1M+ in annual grant funding
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong research abilities and analytical thinking
- Experience with nonprofit fundraising principles and compliance
- Proficiency in grant management software (e.g., Salesforce NPSP)
