Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot complex IT systems, including local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and server environments.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to ensure compliance with federal standards and regulations.
- Provide expert technical support and training to agency staff regarding hardware, software, and network operations.
- Conduct system performance monitoring, audits, and necessary upgrades to optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and improve service delivery.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate records of system configurations and changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; OR 3 years of specialized IT experience.
- At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in network administration or systems analysis.
- Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust clearance (or ability to qualify).
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Strong understanding of network security principles and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation.
