Responsibilities
- Perform heavy equipment operation including excavators, loaders, and dump trucks
- Execute road repair, drainage system maintenance, and snow removal operations
- Conduct infrastructure inspections and report structural concerns
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with engineering teams on large-scale municipal projects
- Maintain accurate work logs and equipment maintenance records
- Participate in emergency response during severe weather events
Qualifications
- Valid Minnesota Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of municipal infrastructure systems
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Experience with GPS survey equipment preferred
