Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and landscape maintenance
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, compactors) safely and efficiently
- Assist in road repair, sidewalk construction, and drainage system maintenance
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean work sites
- Participate in emergency response during extreme weather events
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal infrastructure projects
- Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/evenings as needed
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and construction equipment
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Experience in municipal/public works projects preferred
