Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort, organize, and prepare mail for daily delivery following USPS protocols
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during mail interactions and at customer locations
- Manage and maintain delivery equipment, including scanners and vehicles
- Adhere to strict delivery time standards and quality assurance metrics
- Report delivery issues, maintenance needs, and customer concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Physical stamina to walk 5-8 hours daily and lift up to 70 lbs
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and independently
- Basic computer literacy for USPS systems
