Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to customers along an assigned route in a timely and efficient manner.
- Sort and organize mail before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving concerns professionally.
- Perform physical tasks including walking, bending, lifting, and carrying parcels weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Maintain the safety, security, and accountability of the mail and equipment entrusted to you.
- Navigate various neighborhoods and operate a vehicle (if applicable) safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and schedule requirements.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and a drug test.
- Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including lifting heavy loads and walking long distances.
