Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail along an assigned city route efficiently and accurately
- Operate delivery vehicles safely following all USPS regulations
- Sort, organize, and prepare mail for daily distribution
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and businesses
- Report mail irregularities and maintain delivery records
- Operate scanning devices for package tracking and confirmation
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of USPS property and equipment
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and reporting systems
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends
