Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail/packages along designated routes with precision and timeliness
- Operate delivery vehicles safely while adhering to traffic regulations and USPS standards
- Sort and organize mail efficiently to meet delivery timeframes
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with residents and businesses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report route irregularities
- Perform mail processing duties including scanning and sorting operations
- Adhere to all USPS safety protocols and security procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and carry mail sacks weighing 35+ pounds
- Pass background check, drug screening, and physical assessment
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for mail processing systems
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
