Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail along assigned routes using USPS vehicles or on foot
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to delivery standards
- Operate postal equipment including scanners and automated processing systems
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer service logs
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all mail and parcels
- Adhere to all USPS safety protocols and operational procedures
- Provide excellent customer service during route interactions
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Basic computer literacy for mail processing systems
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
