Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Operate USPS vehicles and maintain accurate delivery records using handheld scanning devices
- Process, sort, and prepare mail for daily delivery in accordance with USPS standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during mail interactions and resolve delivery inquiries
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and weather-related delivery procedures
- Manage route optimization to maintain timely delivery schedules
- Operate automated mail processing equipment and maintain postal facility cleanliness
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status with valid work authorization
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and walk 5-7 miles daily in varying weather conditions
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
