Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail along assigned city routes on foot or via vehicle
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequences
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate records
- Provide excellent customer service at mailboxes and residences
- Operate automated delivery equipment and scanning technology
- Maintain route efficiency and meet delivery time standards
- Safely handle packages up to 70 pounds
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Physical capability to walk/stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Reliable transportation to reporting locations
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
