Key Responsibilities
As a Federal IT Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and efficiency of federal information systems.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for federal agency networks and applications.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to ensure compliance with FISMA and FedRAMP standards.
- Conduct system administration tasks including patch management, user account provisioning, and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate incident reports for federal audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and improve service delivery.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who meet the stringent requirements of federal employment.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance required (or the ability to obtain one).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal or defense contracting environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and SQL databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with government stakeholders.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background investigation.
