Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' benefit claims with 99% accuracy
- Review medical records for eligibility verification
- Communicate claim status updates to veterans via phone/email
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations (38 CFR)
- Collaborate with medical teams to resolve documentation discrepancies
- Generate monthly performance reports using VA systems
- Train temporary staff on claim processing protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- Minimum 2 years federal claims processing experience
- Proficient in VA VISTA system and Microsoft Office Suite
- VA Form 10-2850c certification preferred
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance within 30 days
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid Nebraska driver's license required
