Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization's local and wide-area network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive federal data and systems from unauthorized access.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and deploy IT solutions that align with agency goals.
- Conduct regular system audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Document technical processes, configurations, and procedures to ensure knowledge continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 24 months of specialized experience in information technology systems, including network administration and security.
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- Proficiency in configuring and managing operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, hardware components, and software troubleshooting methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and client interactions.
