Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, hardware, and software systems.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols to safeguard sensitive state data and information assets.
- Conduct system audits, performance assessments, and regular hardware maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy IT solutions that meet business requirements.
- Document technical processes, configurations, and procedures for future reference and training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in network administration, system support, or IT infrastructure.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent industry certification is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
