Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud systems
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive veteran data
- Provide technical support and training to staff across multiple departments
- Oversee system upgrades, migrations, and integration projects
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology with strategic goals
- Ensure compliance with federal IT security standards (FISMA, NIST)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT administration or systems management
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization
- Strong knowledge of federal IT security frameworks
- Experience with project management methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Certification (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent) preferred
