Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT systems supporting federal operations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Manage network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Provide technical support for mission-critical applications and databases
- Ensure compliance with federal IT security standards (FISMA, NIST)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration projects
- Document system configurations and security protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in federal IT systems administration
- Active Security+ CE certification (or equivalent)
- Proficiency in network security tools (e.g., Splunk, Wireshark)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of federal IT procurement processes
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
