Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize enterprise systems including EHR, cybersecurity infrastructure, and network operations
- Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance veteran healthcare delivery
- Implement and maintain compliance with federal IT security standards (NIST, FISMA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration and process automation
- Provide technical expertise for IT infrastructure upgrades and vendor management
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct regular system testing
- Train staff on new technologies and best practices
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 3+ years of federal IT experience with system administration
- Active Security+ CE certification or equivalent DoD-approved credential
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies
- Demonstrated experience with HIPAA-compliant systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred
