Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain advanced cybersecurity protocols and firewalls to protect organizational assets.
- Monitor network traffic and systems for suspicious activities, intrusions, or vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
- Manage user access controls and privilege accounts in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Respond to and mitigate security breaches or cyber incidents in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies while maintaining security standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT security, network administration, or system analysis.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, operating systems, and cloud security principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible for government clearance.
