Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure supporting veteran healthcare systems
- Lead cloud migration projects using AWS/Azure with federal compliance standards (FedRAMP)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop enterprise software solutions
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement cybersecurity protocols
- Manage IT budgets and vendor relationships for strategic technology acquisitions
- Mentor junior staff and conduct technology training for departmental staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in federal IT systems development and implementation
- Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret
- Certification in AWS/Azure and FedRAMP compliance requirements
- Expertise in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Strong analytical skills with experience in enterprise architecture
- Knowledge of VA-specific IT systems (Vista, M2) preferred
