Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure for state IT systems.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management effectively.
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure team adherence to project methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and government officials.
- Monitor project deliverables and ensure alignment with state regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically within a government or large enterprise environment.
- PMP or CAPM certification is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale software development projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management.
