Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols for federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Monitor security incidents and coordinate incident response
- Develop security awareness training programs for federal staff
- Ensure compliance with FISMA and NIST standards
- Collaborate with cross-agency security task forces
- Manage security infrastructure including firewalls and encryption systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT security
- Active CISSP or Security+ certification required
- Experience with federal security frameworks (FISMA, NIST)
- Strong knowledge of network security and cloud platforms
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- U.S. citizenship required
