Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST-compliant cybersecurity protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems
- Develop incident response plans and conduct drills
- Manage identity and access control systems
- Collaborate with cross-agency security teams
- Stay current on evolving threat vectors and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Active CISSP or Security+ certification required
- 3+ years of federal IT security experience
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux security administration
- Familiarity with FISMA and FedRAMP compliance
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) preferred
