Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cybersecurity systems
- Provide technical support for VA's electronic health records system and clinical applications
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure system continuity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and system upgrades
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments for compliance with federal standards
- Train staff on new technologies and best practices
- Document IT procedures and maintain system documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure management
- Federal IT security certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP) or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with Windows Server administration and virtualization technologies
- Experience with healthcare IT systems (VistA, Cerner, Epic) preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
