Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced cybersecurity solutions across DoD networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Monitor security incidents using SIEM tools and respond to breaches
- Develop and maintain security documentation (policies, SOPs)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security initiatives
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and DoD directives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with federal systems
- Active Security+ CE certification (or equivalent)
- Experience with DoD RMF framework and A&A packages
- Proficiency in incident response tools (Splunk, CrowdStrike)
- Secret security clearance required (ability to obtain Top Secret)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, and encryption protocols
