Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues for federal employees.
- System Maintenance: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system issues, resolutions, and technical documentation to support IT operations.
- User Assistance: Train and assist users in navigating government software systems and best practices for data security.
- Security Compliance: Support IT security protocols and assist in ensuring compliance with federal information security standards.
- Asset Management: Assist in the tracking and inventory of IT equipment and hardware assets.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; OR 1 year of specialized IT experience.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Experience: Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and network connectivity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse user base.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical problems and think critically to find solutions.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation and government security clearance.
