Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for end-user hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and peripheral devices across federal facilities.
- Assist in the management of IT asset inventory and software licensing compliance.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal security policies, information assurance standards, and IT compliance regulations.
- Document technical procedures, system configurations, and incident reports accurately.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement new technology solutions and improve system efficiency.
- Conduct basic network monitoring and perform routine system maintenance to ensure operational continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience for entry-level candidates).
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux operating systems, and basic networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting and reporting technical issues.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a background clearance (depending on role level).
- Willingness to undergo standard federal onboarding and security training.
