Responsibilities
- Manage and Maintain Federal IT Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) for federal clients.
- Implement Security Protocols: Enforce FedRAMP and NSA compliance standards to protect sensitive government data and ensure system integrity.
- Troubleshoot Complex Systems: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to ensure 100% system availability and minimal downtime.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate effectively with government officials, military personnel, and internal engineering teams to translate technical requirements into solutions.
- System Upgrades & Patching: Execute scheduled maintenance, apply security patches, and upgrade legacy systems to modern standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent military experience).
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (US Citizen required).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or federal contracting.
- Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, VPN technologies, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
