We are currently seeking a highly skilled and security-cleared IT Specialist to support critical federal missions in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Design, install, and administer federal IT systems, including networks, servers, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Security Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure compliance with NIST 800-171 and FISMA standards.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for federal users, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
- Project Leadership: Lead small IT projects from initiation to deployment, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including system configurations, security plans, and incident reports.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for federal stakeholders, providing regular status updates and technical briefings.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Certifications: CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or Cisco CCNA required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal contracting or government IT services.
- Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and VMware.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong verbal and written communication skills.
