Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for federal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations.
- Manage and secure sensitive federal data in strict compliance with NIST, FISMA, and agency security policies.
- Perform system administration tasks, including patch management, user provisioning, and hardware maintenance.
- Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and performance tuning to ensure high availability.
- Collaborate directly with federal stakeholders and subject matter experts to resolve complex technical issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation and configuration logs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related role within a federal or defense environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, Active Directory, and network security protocols.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with government officials and technical teams.
