Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and upgrade local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and related hardware/software.
- Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
- Provide technical support to federal agency personnel regarding hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Conduct routine system backups and disaster recovery planning to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy IT solutions that meet federal compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- Active Top Secret or Secret Security Clearance (required for immediate consideration).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT systems administration or network engineering.
- Familiarity with federal IT standards, including FISMA, NIST, and DISA security guidelines.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server environments and Active Directory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
