About the Role:
As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-life cycle of IT services, ensuring mission-critical systems remain secure, available, and efficient. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet stringent federal standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure for federal clients.
- Enforce federal security protocols and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex network and hardware issues.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Document system configurations and maintain detailed technical logs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in federal IT contracting or government service.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GSEC are a plus.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and data privacy laws.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
