Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the City's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for internal government departments and public services.
- Monitor system performance, security logs, and network traffic to prevent cyber threats.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity for state agencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve operational workflows.
- Conduct regular audits of IT assets and software licenses to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in network administration or IT support.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CCNA are highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
- Experience with government security protocols and data privacy regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
