Responsibilities
- Conduct Vulnerability Assessments: Perform regular security scans and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in federal systems.
- Implement Security Protocols: Deploy and manage NIST-compliant security controls and FedRAMP standards across the network.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security incidents, ensuring rapid containment and recovery.
- Access Control Management: Manage user permissions and identity management processes to ensure strict compliance with federal regulations.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Create detailed security reports for government leadership and provide technical briefings.
Qualifications
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or GSEC certification preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with specific experience in federal or defense contracting environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security architecture.
