Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure supporting critical federal operations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive data
- Manage cloud platforms and hybrid IT environments ensuring 99.9% uptime
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-level technology solutions
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network and system issues
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct regular testing
- Stay current with evolving federal IT compliance requirements (FISMA, NIST)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience with federal systems
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and virtualization technologies
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and incident response protocols
- Certifications in CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM required
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
