Responsibilities
- Design and implement network security controls for federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Develop security policies compliant with NIST and FISMA standards
- Manage access control systems for classified data
- Collaborate with DHS cybersecurity task forces
- Train federal employees on security best practices
Qualifications
- GS-13 level experience in federal IT security roles
- CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Minimum 5 years network security administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server and Linux environments
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Knowledge of CMMC and FedRAMP frameworks
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability Determination
