Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure IT infrastructure and network systems.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive federal data from cyber threats.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular system audits and ensure strict compliance with federal regulations (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Document technical processes and maintain detailed system configurations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (4 years of additional IT experience may substitute for the degree).
- Active Secret Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in IT systems administration.
- Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and virtualization platforms.
- Strong understanding of network architecture, hardware components, and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
